Riders from all over the Pacific Northwest will arrive at The Mill Casino later this month when Highway 101 Harley-Davidson hosts their Annual Lighthouse Run June 29-30, 2012.
This is the 12th year the company has hosted the event which attracts hundreds and features a group ride along the beautiful Oregon Coast.
To participate, you must register in advance (registration fills up quickly so hurry!). You can register by printing the Registration Form and mailing it to 536 S. 2nd St., Coos Bay, OR. You can also register by calling the store directly at 541-266-7051.
Riders will check in from 4-8pm on Friday June 29 and receive their event packets with a tee shirt, pin, meal ticket, raffle tickets and promotional items. Check in is followed by a Show-N-Shine, entertainment, a No Host Bar and Food Service, Hourly Raffle Drawings and more.
The Run kicks off at 9am Saturday morning in The Mill parking lot with a group run to the Umpqua River Lighthouse in Winchester Bay, one of the most photographed lighthouses in Oregon. Riders are then free to head north or south to visit any of the poker stops or recommended points of interest:
- Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Newport
- Sea Lion Cave
- Heceta Head Lighthouse, Florence
- Old Town Florence, Florence
- Reedsport Elk Preserve, Reedsport
- Loon Lake
- Cape Arago Lighthouse, Charleston
- Coquille Lighthouse, Bandon
- Old Town Bandon, McFarland’s Bar & Grille
- Cape Blanco Lighthouse (& Patrick Hughes House)
- Highway 101 Harley-Davidson
A day of riding the beautiful Oregon coast will be topped off with a delicious dinner (included), no-host bar, lots of sponsor giveaways, a 50/50 drawing (both Friday and Saturday evenings), the announcement of high-hand/low-hand winners and – possibly – the winner of a brand new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. We’ll then be entertained with live comedy by the hilarious Francis Dilorinzo.
