Warehouse 101, our hot nightspot,goes live each Friday and Satruday night from 9pm- 1am! This week, we are spotlighting some of the bands performing on our stage this month! Mr. Wizard Performs July 29 – 30, 2011 & August 26 -27, 2011
The Mr. Wizard band has long been one of the premier rock cover bands in the Northwest. They bring a high degree of musicianship and versatility to their shows ~ shifting easily from rock to funk, blues, country and even reggae. Mr. Wizard is not your average cover band they are consummate professionals who consistently exceed expectations and never disappoint.

Toyz – Its a Rock Show Performs August 5 & 6, 2011& September 2-4, 2011
TOYZ-It’s a Rock Show delivers “fist-pumping, testosterone-injected arena rock”…but in slightly smaller venues. This Coos Bay, Oregon band features Kevin Mason, on lead vocals/drums; Vinnie Cavarra on guitar/vocals; Alex Arguinzoni on bass guitar/vocals; and Bob Richards on drums.

Sonic Storm Performs August 12 & 13, 2011
SONIC STORM is a popular northwest high energy dynamic cover/tribute band from Eugene Oregon that performs music from the “Arena Rock” era, such as Journey,Boston,Styx and many others from the 70’s and 80’s.

Phamous Phaces Performs September 9-10, 2011
Phamous Phaces personifies high-energy classic rock & power pop. Studio quality live performances, incredible lead vocals and multi-talented three piece set this band apart. Brit Pop roots resonate throughout their numerous original works. Amazing guitar work fronts powerful lead vocal, memorable melodies overlaid with harmonies and ever-steady back beat. Phamous Phaces are influenced by The Beatles, The Who, Cheap Trick & Oasis, with vocals that rival Robert Plant & Scott Weiland. Over their long history, Phamous Phaces have developed a unique signature sound whether doing a popular cover or an original work.

Merrill Performs September 16-17, 2011
Merrill’s high energy rock presence have made them the perfect opening act for such bands as Maroon 5, Counting Crows, and Augustana. They were also asked to play the 2007 Bumbershoot Music Festival with Crowded House, Fergie, and Kings Of Leon, and received regional airplay for their song “The One Thing” from their first album “Evolutions.” The band has a licensing agreement with Fox Sports for the use of their song “Back 4 More” and donate their time by playing charity events for Boys and Girls Aid, The Red Cross, and The American Cancer Society, and various local charities.

Hookah Stew Performs September 16-17, 2011
Known for their wide musical range and frenetic performances, Hookah Stew has become a well known buzz band on the West Coast music scene. The Portland, Oregon trio reunited after a long hiatus in 2007, and within months were on the road with a mission to rock every city in their path. A 5 song E.P. (Hits from the Hookah) was released shortly thereafter. The first track “Lil Miss RocknRoll”, was picked up by Fox Sports, and “Season for Leavin’” has been licensed for an upcoming independent film. Hookah Stew has played 200 shows in the last year, and will be on tour again this Summer/Fall in support of their latest single/video RollerGirl, which is being heard on West Coast radio from Alaska to San Diego. The tune has also peaked the interest of roller derby leagues across the country who skate to the song during bouts. Between tour dates, the band is discussing the future with independent labels, while recording tracks for a new album with Producer, Tony Esperance (Papa Roach, Gluttn).
