Blackjack, also referred to as Twenty-One, is one of the most widely played casino games in the world- and is one of our most popular table games at The Mill Casino.  We host weekly $360 Blackjack Tournaments every Sunday at 2 and 6:30pm  and a Single Deck Pitch Blackjack daily at 10 am.

Blackjack is believed to be very popular among players due the combination of chance and skill involved. The object is to win by getting a card combination total that is higher than the dealer’s hand without exceeding 21.

The Mill Casino Hotel & RV Park welcomes one of the Pacific Northwest’s most popular entertainers: Portland magician, illusionist, comedian – and veteran of two wars, William Scott Anderson.

Scott Anderson’s Operation Magic is coming to The Mill Casino on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2011.

Anderson is known for his talent in combining the magic, humor and moving stories from his life traveling the world as a U.S. soldier. As an Oregon National Guard combat medic and medevac pilot, he spent 14 years traveling with the military throughout Asia, Europe and the United States, entertaining troops and Afghani and Iraqi civilians in his free time.

Anderson was a contestant on Season Five of America’s Got Talent and featured on NBC’s Nightly News with Brian Williams.Watch his his story here:

Anderson’s Las Vegas style show features tons of audience participation, dozens of impossible illusions and lots of laughter.  Tickets for the 7 and 9 p.m. Salmon Room performances are now on sale in Ko-Kwel Gift’s for $15 or $10 with a Millionaire$ Club card. 2011 Bay Area Fun Festival is coming to Downtown Coos Bay this weekend! The Mill-Luck Salmon Celebration is just days away and we are putting the final touches to make this year’s celebration better than ever! Known for showcasing a traditional salmon bake dinner where fresh salmon is prepared in the time-honored Coquille open-pit manner, the Mill-Luck Salmon Celebration offers visitors the opportunity to experience Native American culture, art, food and music.

The celebration features daily performances by Native American storytellers, drummers, flutists and dancers, a marketplace offering traditional wares and foods, a bay-front canoe exhibit and races, traditional games and activities for children, plus a variety of cultural demonstrations and educational exhibits. New this year, the Celebration will include a “weigh station” for the 12th Annual Coos Basin Amateur Salmon Derby taking place the same weekend.

The Mill-Luck Salmon Celebration is linked to traditional observances marking the return of the salmon and began 8 years ago as a means of sharing the heritage, culture and traditions of the Coquille Indian Tribe and other Pacific Northwest Tribes.

In addition to the free daytime events which will take place on the casino’s waterfront dock and South end of the Hotel, this year’s celebration will also feature the nation’s premiere Native American comedy troupe, Pow Wow Comedy Jam, which was recently awarded the North American Indigenous Image Award for Comedy Performance.  They will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Salmon Room.

Tickets for the Pow Wow Comedy Jam and the popular Salmon Bake dinner, which will be served from 11a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday are on sale at Ko-Kwel Gifts inside The Mill Casino • Hotel.
