So nice to meet you Saturday night, Nicole. I would like to express how very pleased we were with everything. The dinner was fabulous, the service was way beyond good...really the best ever. The head person (the one we paid), sorry I cannot remember her name.... I can't say enough good things about her and her crew. Felt like I had made new friends by the time the party wrapped up. All the little extra things that The Mill did was so appreciated and made our event very special. Please extend my gratitude to Sue also, she was a huge help and kept it all together for us.

I want to thank you and your entire hotel staff for your efforts in making our stay at your facility August 6-8, 2010 such a positive experience. It was refreshing to see "everyone" so involved in making sure our conference was successful.

Of course you in particular, went above and beyond, from accommodating last minute requests, to insuring the timeliness of A/V set up, to assisting with banquets during our Friday night event; none of which went unnoticed or unappreciated. You exemplify the concept of a team effort.

You were organized, accommodating, and on top of even the smallest of details. Meeting rooms were ready and situated according to our requests. It all made my job easier.

Although it is difficult logistically for our 5-state group to make the trip to Coos Bay, if not for that factor I can assure you we would return soon.

The Seafood Buffet on Friday night was fantastic.

Illinois Valley Senior Center

Dear Mr. Close,

Sometimes it is approprioate to mention to management a certain atmosphere that surrounds guests at your property. This happened to 35 of us on the 6th-7th of December when we bussed up to see Shore Acres and enjoy your facility.
It is hard to believe that we used so much of the property in such a short time but from the gift shop to the Plank House and on the floor of the casino, the staff was absolutely incredible. Lalita, who works in the casino was better than anyone I have ever encountered in her position. She actually came up to us and offered us the EXACT drinks we had previously ordered....how she remembered, we will never know. She is quite the asset!
Your hotel staff was courteous and worked well under pressure. Always smiling. I ordered 4 mini cakes to bring home while eating dinner and as promised, they were ready by noon the day of departure. They were beautifully done and delivered with that, by now, famous Mill Casino smile. Is there training for that?
From developing thr group to the cookies and cider, Sue Karolyi was so professional and on her days off, Nichole took right over knowing exactly what our needs were. As the group leader I was so impressed with the entire operation. The harmony created by the consistency in the vision that upper management has created here is admirable.
Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Please pass our kudos on to everyone we encountered. It was such a pleasure to stay with you.
