Comedy Night - Damonde Tschritter with Monica Nevi

October 4, 2017

Warehouse 101
Two Shows! 7 pm & 9 pm

Damonde is a hilarious and unique stand-up comedian, so much so that Canada’s National newspaper, The Globe & Mail, hailed him as “Comedies new Superhero, and perhaps this countries finest comedic storyteller.” His TV comedy specials have aired on CTV, CBC, HBO, Comedy Network and Comedy Central. He can be heard on SiriusXM radio, as well as CBC’s The Debaters and Madly Off in All Directions, and he has appeared at every comedy festival in North America including the New Faces Gala at Just for Laughs.

He’s the only Canadian in 35 years to win The Seattle International Comedy Competition, the largest of it’s kind in the United States. And he was awarded the Gold Medal Performance for top comedic act at the 2010 Winter Olympic games in Vancouver.

He has appeared in both film and television, is an accomplished screen writer with two TV shows and one movie currently in development. You can hear him weekly on his breakout hit podcast, Funnier Than Gretzky.

Comedy Night - Kris Shaw with JR Berard

October 11, 2017

Warehouse 101
Two Shows! 7 pm & 9 pm

It may just be a live microphone in a small spotlight, but when Kris Shaw steps up to it, the experience is unlike anything you’ve come to expect from stand up comedy.

Kris is a storyteller who, with quick bursts of wit and carefully crafted silences, keeps the audience engaged through everyday observations and tough topics alike. His slightly askew but loveable style disarms and charms from the first set-up to the final punch line. There isn’t so much as a hint of meanness in his spirit, and that good energy spills onto the stage and beyond. You will find yourself laughing out loud, delighted at how easily you relate to this uniquely funny guy.

Kris is a fan favorite who tours comedy clubs, colleges and events all across the United States and Canada. He has entertained troops in Iraq, Kuwait, Japan, Korea, Bahrain, Dubai, Kyrgestan and Africa. Kris also appears in national television commercials and had a recurring extra role on the CBS drama “Close To Home”.

SOLD OUT!

Two Shows 6 & 8 pm
Salmon Room, 21 & older

The year was 1969, and these “kids” had the nerve to carry the name WAR at a time when peace was the slogan in an anti-Vietnam America. Their mission was to spread a message of brotherhood and harmony. WAR’s global popularity is a tribute to the timelessness of its music and message.

The evolution of WAR began in 1969…and WAR has been evolving ever since.  Their top charting songs like The Cisco Kid, Low Rider, Why Can't We Be Friends and Spill the Wine are still popular today.

Comedy Night - Steve Gillispie with Isak Allen

October 18, 2017

Warehouse 101
Two Shows! 7 pm & 9 pm

A decade into his standup career, Steve Gillespie moved from Minneapolis to LA. He has performed on Conan, & recently released his critically acclaimed 2nd album, Alive on State, which hit #1 on the iTunes Comedy Album charts.

Gillespie’s act is a slaphappy balance of aggression and absurdity, coupled with a delightfully pushy persona and coarse yet effective word choice. His hilarious self-flagellation and blistering social commentary has also earned him spots on Fox’s Laughs as well as the Bridgetown Comedy Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival. He was a finalist in CMT’s Next Big Comic, a runner up for Best of the Midwest at Gilda’s Laughfest, and his debut album Stever Fever from Rooftop Comedy was named a top-10 comedy album of the year by ComedyReviews.com.

Gillespie has also had the pleasure of sharing the biggest stages with some of the best comics in the country, including opening appearances for Dave Attell, Jim Breuer, Tom Segura, Kyle Kinnane, Tom Green, Harland Williams, Doug Benson, Emo Phillips, and Gilbert Gottfried.

A winner on America's Funniest People, Allan has been interviewed on The Billy Bush Show, and he has been seen in several PBS commercials. Al regularly headlines comedy clubs, theaters, cruise lines, resorts and military bases, and also performs for large venues and corporate events. He was featured on the national TV show LAUGHS on Fox, and was a 2014 Finalist and a 2015 First Place Satellite Winner in the World Series of Comedy.

Al was the host of the 2014 Television, Internet and Video Association (TIVA) Awards Gala at the National Press Club in Washington DC.
